30 Christmassy “Would You Rather?” Questions

Christmas is the best time of year for party games. Mainly that’s because it’s the best time of year for parties, of course. But also, it’s fairly simple to take any party game and make a Christmas version of it – which is exactly what we’re about to do with the sleepover favorite Would You Rather?

To be honest, Would You Rather? is less of a game and more of an icebreaker. It’s all about answering funny and perplexing questions and in the process learning a little more about the personalities of your friends.

Just as I did with Pictionary, I’m giving Would You Rather? a candy cane-style twist by making it all about Christmas. To make it easy to incorporate this game into a holiday gathering, I’ve included two printables – one geared toward kids and one with more adult-oriented questions.

Kid-Friendly Questions

Here are some questions that all but the youngest kiddos should be able to answer. However, that’s not to say that adults won’t enjoy them as well!

Would you rather meet Frosty or Rudolph?

Would you rather have hot cocoa or eggnog?

Would you rather decorate the tree or build a snowman?

Would you rather have a blizzard on Christmas or no snow at all?

Would you rather be the size of an elf or the color of the Grinch?

Would you rather visit the Island of Misfit Toys or Whoville?

Would you rather go walking in a winter wonderland or go dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh?

Would you rather eat a mustard-flavored candy cane or a taco-flavored Christmas cookie?

Would you rather have a snowball fight or go sledding?

Would you rather work in Santa’s workshop or take care of the reindeer?

Would you rather wrap presents or bake cookies?

Here are some questions that are more geared toward adult experiences. That said, older children should be able to answer most or all of these questions as well.
